Pakistan hands over detained BSF jawan to India

Justice BR Gavai on Wednesday took the oath as the 52nd Chief Justice of India at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. With this, he has become the first Buddhist to head the country's judiciary. India asks Pakistani official to leave within 24 hours for 'spying'

India declared a Pakistani official working at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi 'persona non grata' for reportedly spying. MEA said the official was found indulging in activities not in keeping with his official status and asked him to leave within 24 hours. "Charge d' Affaires, Pakistan High Commission, was issued a demarche to this effect," it added.
